'No' was not the end: Four Corners this week is on Truth-telling

Four Corners, Monday, 24 March, titled 'Truth/Yoorrook', is about the continuing work of Victoria's Yoorrook Justice Commission.

A major investigation is underway, an Australian first, unearthing a long-buried history hidden from the national narrative.

It’s called Yoorrook, the Wemba Wemba word for “truth”.

This truth-telling inquiry has spent years collecting testimony from hundreds of First Nations and non-Indigenous people, revealing the scale of atrocities and the failure of governments to reckon with the past.

If anyone thought the October 2023 Voice Referendum result was the end of the story, this Four Corners will help disabuse them.

Other states, however, (for example, Queensland) are not as advanced as Victoria. Victoria's will report to government in June.
